On Sunday 27 August Khartomb played their 2nd gig of the 21st century at Harmfest 2017 which took place in the Lincolnshire village of Harmston (about 30 mins from Lincoln).
It was our first ever gig using backing tracks for selected songs with our virtual drummer/keyboard player (aka Ian's Mac!) and Ian's first using a pedal board and just to make things even more complex he switched between his Fender Tele and bass throughout the set.
We made these additions to add new textures to our live sound and (our ultimate aim) to sound more like a band than a duo!
Our 40-minute set was:
- Save Me
- Swahili Lullaby
- No Man's Land
- The Book
- Tears of Mercury
- Is It Safe?
- Follow The Sun
- Shut It Down
- You Know That I'm No Good (Amy Winehouse cover).
Here's a few photos from the event last summer.
We don't have any gigs planned for 2018 but you'll obviously be the first to know as soon as we do!
